There is only one thing I can say about the character Isabelle Lightwood. She's a force to be reckoned with. In a time where female characters are taking on an edgier role, Izzy does not define herself by being merely vicious. She is a femme fatale. She's breathtaking, sensitive, flirtatious, sassy, and deadly. One snap of her whip and any demon would quake. But then, she wants attention for being a girl in a boy's world.
Form Cassandra Clare's The Mortal Instrument's series, Izzy Lightwood is a Shadow hunter, a demon killer. But it's the softer moments when she realizes Clary is her only true friend who's a girl, her infatuation with Simon (who's so not her type), and her family devotion. She's a great character!
