Happy Monday, everyone! I'm not sure how many of you out in the blogosphere are like me, but Mondays are the start of my writing week. I take Sundays off to be with my family and catch up on all of the tedious things that creep up during the week like grocery shopping. So, when my Mondays don't start off right (that means motivating and engaging), my week is shot to hell!
With that being said, I'm starting a new feature here at The Guardian Writer. I'm calling it "Monday Motivations". Every Monday, I will post a prompt, picture, or opening to get your creative juices (and mine) flowing. You can use it to help you imagine possibilities in your writing.
If you do write something and want to share, I would love that! Just simply email me at firstname.lastname@example.org with the sampling (no more than 100 words) and your name, and I will post it for you here on Fridays. It might be a great way to get feedback on your writing. Don't worry, I'll be posting my own on Fridays as well. If you don't want to share, that's okay, too. I would love to know what you think of the ones offered. So comment away!
This week's Monday Motivation is a picture: What can you write using this setting?
